Tips to succeed or perform better next time:

Excel -

Ask Yourself:

Is logical reasoning and problem-solving your passion?
Do you believe you can excel as a Data Analyst?
If your answer is yes, here’s how to improve:

1. Practice Core Functions: Dedicate time to mastering key Excel functions like:

  • VLOOKUP

  • SUMIFS

  • COUNTIFS

  • SUMPRODUCT

  • INDEX/MATCH

2. Use Free Resources:

  • The internet is full of free assignments and tutorials to help you practice.

  • Dive in and challenge yourself with real-world scenarios.

Power BI -

You might think you’re a quick learner and have eased through challenges in life. But Power BI demands more—it rewards persistence, depth, and curiosity.

1 . Do more and more assignments. And don't stop there.

2. Automate all the work you have done. Now think can it be automated more? The answer is mostly always 'yes'

3. Forget Certifications and Theory:

  • They might look good on a resume, but Power BI is all about practical, hands-on experience.

  • Build dashboards, explore real-world datasets, and solve complex problems.

4. Focus on What Matters:

  • You don’t need to master every DAX formula, but you should know the ones that will help you succeed, such as:

    • CALCULATE and its pairing with filters.

    • Filter functions like ALL, ALLEXCEPT, and ALLSELECTED
